The commands to run the IDL/SolarSoft scripts to generate Fig. 9:

IDL> Dst_empirical,'Dst_05042010Storm.txt','gamma_SIMtoGSM_04052010_Storm.sav'

The output of this script will be an IDL sav file called Dst_empirical.sav.

IDL> Dst_vs_NumMagStormIndex_fig8, 'KEDim_05042010Storm.dat', 'Dst_Final_05042010Storm.sav', 'Dst_empirical.sav'

After running this command, please enter 05-APR-10 04:00:00.000 for the Base Time.
